Three Tips For Spring Cleaning Your Closet

Happy Monday my people! I hope y’all are doing great. In honor of me putting this look by recycling it from my closet, I thought I’d share with you a few tips about spring cleaning my closet. I think Spring is for cleaning and making room for new blooms in our lives, but that is a discussion for another day and another blogpost probably, lol.

I don’t like to complicate things and wanted to make my list very short but feel free to add and share your tips below. When I’m cleaning my closet, I make three groups:

#Donation: I think this is the simplest one. If the clothing item is something I don’t see myself wearing and is gently used, I give it out to either to family members or donation centers. If you’re an immigrant, you probably understand this more than anybody else because your parents always feel like there is someone who can still wear your clothes and it is so wrong to throw things away, lol.

#Trash: No matter what our parents say, we all know that there are items we sometimes love but are ripped, or too short or whatever the case may be and need to be trash, periodt. If I feel like nobody will wear the item and I’ve gotten my money worth out of wearing it so much and so that you can tell, it means it’s got to go.

#Sell: This is something new to me but I’m starting to think that there are definitely people who might like to purchase some of my stuff. I have a Poshmark account and I want to start posting more items there. You can follow me there and stay updated on the items that I post.

I hope these tips help you. Please share your spring cleaning tips below.

xoxo,

Chida
