It has been a minute since I wrote here and I’m so excited to be back on my regular schedule this week. I hope you’ll be excited to see my upcoming posts. I’ve been a little busy to write, but on the other hand I have been busy traveling and catching up with my family in Togo (Stay tuned for the blogpost). The good thing about traveling is that it gives you a fresh perspective and a refreshed mind so here I am.
I’m touching a bit on a topic close and near to my heart. I’ve been working on improving on my self-confidence and wanted to share a couple of things I’ve learned on my journey so far.
-You don’t have to change in the name of self-confidence. The essence of self-confidence is being comfortable with who you are. There are a lot you can love about yourself, take a good look. Consider it a bonus, everything that is different about you because it makes you unique. Improve on things that can help you become better and remove what does not serve you.
-Social media will make you think that you have to be loud about your confidence, or that loudness equals confidence but it is not always true. Confidence can quiet. There is strength and power in quiet confidence that does not need to overpower other.
-And if all else fail, just dress cute, put on some red lipstick, and strut like this entire earth belongs to you – lol.
Cheers to a great week!
