Hello there! I hope y’all are doing wonderful. Can you believe we are closing up on the second month of the year. December was just yesterday, lol. I think this is the perfect time to revisit your goals/intention for the year. If you started the year wanting to start your business, how is that going?
I personally have learned many lessons from my previous business and have been taking time to apply them to run my future businesses successfully.
#1 “Failing to plan is planning to fail” they say. Even if you feel like you have an amazing product that you need to launch asap, preparation is really needed. In this era where there are so many brands that are competing for the attention of the consumer, how do you want to be perceived. Your logo and your entire color scheme are very telling about your brand and the type of customers you’d like to attract. Branding is an important aspect of your business and requires attention.
#2 Quality content is essential especially when it comes to the online presence. how do you plan to approach this? There are many great tools to help you create and plan content such as canva, lightroom, snapseed, later, planolly, etc. You also need to look for a photographers that can understand your brand and can help you create content that aligns with your brand.
#3 If your planning on having an online presence then investing in a good website is important. It is true that as you are starting and resources may be limited but remember that you can start with an inexpensive site that can be attractive to your desired clients. Wix, Shopify, Squarespace, and WordPress offer amazing templates that can cater to the needs of your clients without spending too much money.
I hope these tips will help you in your entrepreneurial journey. Feel free to reach out for questions.
