Hello my luvs! Bringing some sweets and delights to you via Le Plat Voyageur De Zara today. As an immigrant, there are some snacks that you could only get from back home or select stores, so I’m always excited to find food, snacks, and spices I enjoy on social media.
As you may have noticed, I have been showcasing more small businesses, and black-owned businesses on my blog and social media handles. It brings me joy to support a business around me in any way that I can, especially when it comes to food (self-proclaimed foodie here, lol).
If you’re like me and love to snack while working or reading, you’ve found the perfect snacks. So let’s get into what I ordered, shall we?
-Atchomo(Togo) or Chin chin: This is a West African favorite and according to Google “Chin chin is a fried snack in West Africa. It is similar to the Scandinavian snack klenat, a crunchy, donut-like baked or fried dough of wheat flour, and other customary baking items.” It is pretty much fried though crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside if i can describe it that way.
-Louga or Nougat: It is made out of peanut paste and caramel. I think the closest sweet I can relate this to is peanut brittle except the whole peanut part. This actually my forever favorite. I love the fact that Le Plat Voyageur de Zara uses almond to replace the peanut. I love all of it and can’t wait to order more.
With this being said, these are not the only food items you can buy from Le Plat voyageur de Zara. The owner gifted me a couple more of her tasty creations I have not listed on this blog so please check out her social media pages and support her business. I love when the business owners I support are kind, gracious and sweet. She actually gifted me more than what I paid for and my belly was super thankful. Please follow her food blog and support her. Check out her contact information below:
You can send her a private message on either of her accounts or directly send her an email.
I hope y’all enjoyed reading about this business and looking forward to bringing you more businesses to support.
